This Limited Reserve lot is a curated marriage of two extraordinary estates: the pioneering El Mirador in Huila, Colombia, and the heritage-rich Don Sabino Micromill in Costa Rica’s West Valley. By blending Elkin Guzman’s scientifically processed Orange Bourbon with the Vargas Bastos family’s volcanic-grown Catuái, we’ve created a profile that is both structurally complex and deeply comforting.

The Colombian component brings a "Hydro Honey" processing innovation that offers a sophisticated, jammy fruitiness and sparkling clarity. This is perfectly grounded by the Costa Rican Natural lot, which provides a creamy, syrupy body and rich notes of toffee. Together, they create a "perfect marriage" of bright acidity and velvet-like sweetness.

Expect an initial burst of vibrant red fruit—strawberry and cherry—that transitions into a dense, chocolatey mid-palate. The finish is long and elegant, lingering with notes of brown spice and creamy malt. This is a rare exploration of how volcanic soil and modern fermentation can harmonize in a single cup.

This special release brings together two of the most respected names in specialty coffee: Elkin Guzman and the Vargas Bastos Family. This blend was designed to highlight the "best of both worlds"—combining the experimental Natural Hydro Honey process from Colombia with the classic Volcanic Natural tradition of Costa Rica.

The Component (Colombia): Orange Bourbon from El Mirador (1615m). Provides the structure, citrus-like clarity, and refined spice.

The Component (Costa Rica): Catuái from Don Sabino Micromill (1300–1600m). Provides the "soul" of the blend with its creamy body, strawberry sweetness, and toffee depth.
